Annual Boiler Servicing

Annual boiler servicing is required by the manufacturer to maintain your warranty/guarantee on new boilers and unvented hot water cylinders, but is also recommended to continue with after these after they have expired to help maintain performance and efficiency as well the ability to spot possible faults or problems before they occur or become a costly issue.

A service should take around 30-mins to an hour depending on boiler make, age, how much (if any) remedial works need to be carried out and if a cylinder service is also required. We carry out Flue-Gas analysis, safety device checks, gas-safety checks, and as of 2019, the new building regulation BS:7593, states we must also check the system water quality and add or top-up inhibitor levels.

A standard service starts from £85.00, but just like a service on a car, sometimes parts can need replacing (such as gaskets/seals, electrodes etc) and inhibitor levels topping up. If this is the case we will advise you of the cost of the parts and for any extra time (if required), for your approval, before we proceed.

We carry out boiler servicing across Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster. Our engineers are Gas Safe Registered as well as trained and/or approved by leading manufacturers such as Baxi, Vaillant, Worcester and Ideal.

*Please note – A service is for working boilers only and is routine maintenance, if there’s a fault with the boiler then this is classed as fault finding/diagnostics and can be booked via our breakdowns and repairs option.
